A Mother’s Love

There really is no tougher job. You begin with morning sickness, heartburn, weight gain, a painful labor, and sleepless nights. Toss in diapers and bottles, sippy cups, doctor visits, and more sleepless nights. As your children grow so do their needs. Yet somehow, Mom always comes through at a moment’s notice with that money for the school trip, the rides to soccer, the cupcakes for a bake sale, the oaktag and Sharpie markers for the latest class project. Before you know it, you’re teaching your little one to drive and revisiting sleepless nights while you wait to hear the pitter-patter of those much-larger feet coming home by curfew.
A mother is a wonder of patience, creativity, self-sacrifice, and boundless love.
