Dunes & Dreams, Chapter 215 of the Romance Writers of America®, is an up-and-coming romance writing group based on the east-end of Long Island. We welcome published and unpublished writers. The membership includes writers of all levels, from those beginning their first novel to award-winning, multi-published authors.
The chapter is dedicated to promoting excellence in romantic fiction, women’s fiction and many other fiction genres through monthly meetings and workshops where writers and industry professionals share their knowledge, support and mutual respect.
At the heart of Dunes & Dreams is our strong desire to help writers learn the craft of writing romance! We want to help you not only hone your craft, but provide on-going support, encouragement and networking to take your career to the next level (or get that career going in the first place.) Whether you’re suffering from writer’s block, received a rejection letter or just signed your first (or 40th) contract- a supportive writing group can ease the pain or make the joys of this business just a little bit sweeter.
